A Family Tradition in Medicine
Medicine is a family tradition in Dr. Joseph’s family. The youngest of six children, Dr. Brian P. Joseph and most of his siblings followed the same medical path shaped by their father when he became a surgeon many years ago.
Education & Training
Dr. Joseph received his bachelor’s degree from Tulane University and his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine.
Academic Appointments & Teaching
Before starting private cosmetic surgery practice in the Orlando area, Dr. Joseph was an Assistant Professor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Kentucky. He served as Director of the Aesthetic Clinic and instructed surgeons in the latest techniques in cosmetic surgery of the face, breast, and body. He also performed microsurgery for cancer and trauma reconstruction patients.
Board Certifications & Professional Memberships
Dr. Joseph is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He is a member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), a subspecialty society devoted to cosmetic surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Leadership, Awards & Innovation
Dr. Joseph is Chairman of Plastic Surgery for Orlando Health and serves on the President’s committee for the Florida Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. He was voted Best Plastic Surgeon in Orlando (2016, Orlando Magazine). His practice is a national training center for Cynosure and InMode lasers.
