A breast lift involves the removal of excess skin and tissue, together with the repositioning of the nipple, to give a completely natural look. Mastopexy surgery can also reduce the size of the areola (the darker skin surrounding the nipple) if necessary. A breast lift is not a simple operation, but when performed by a qualified surgeon, the result is a firmer, tighter bust line, with a more youthful appearance overall.

Some patients may wish to increase their breast size at the same time as having a breast lift at our practice. If desired, we can perform breast augmentation in conjunction with a mastopexy, as part of a comprehensive plan, to help a patient achieve her ideal figure by creating the fuller, firmer, shapelier breasts she desires.
