It works by collecting fat from your abdomen and immediately preparing it for transfer to the face. It is necessary to first over-correct the treated area, in order to compensate for the natural re-absorption that follows injection. Two or more sessions may be required.

Following the procedure, you will notice some swelling and discoloration of the skin around the injection and donor sites. This typically resolves over two or three weeks. Over the next several weeks, you may experience some firmness that may persist for the next week or two afterward.

Viability of the transferred fat is possible and some long-term correction can be achieved.
